She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Gus Vallas; her son Gus B. Vallas; her parents, Harold Baucum and Angie Leigh Baucum; and her former husband Gary Rice.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy V. Comans (Wayne); her grandchildren, Kristin Slay (Greg Centilli), Kasey Thoms (Josh), Kody Comans (Blair) and Brittany Arnold; her great grandchildren, Zach Slay (Olivia), Heather Arnold, Brennon Thoms Posey Thoms, Clark Comans and Roxie Kate Comans; and her great great grandchildren, Braiden Slay, Annie James Slay and Ridge Slay.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Decatur Methodist Church (268 W Broad St, Decatur, MS 39327). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery (248 Honor Circle, Newton, MS 39345).
