He was predeceased by: his mother Alma Gertrude Dixon (Trammel); his wife Barbara Jean Dixon; his son Charles Ted Dixon, Jr.; and his great great grandchild Ezekiel Dixon. He is survived by: his father Charles Lyerly; his daughters, Susan Harrell (Scott), Elaine Pace (Jerry) and Patsy Lavassani (Ali); and his brother Bob Dixon. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and a legacy of numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DeKalb Baptist Church (11 Bell St, De Kalb, MS 39328). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Rush Cemetery Rush Cemetery.
