Merl Edwards Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilmer Edwards and Mary Ida Edwards; his brothers, Earl Edwards, Clifton Edwards and Dennis Edwards; and his nephews, Wesley Edwards and Jason Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Edwards; his children, Dale Edwards (Linda), Scott Edwards (Hollie) and Lori Kynerd (John); his grandchildren, Kayla Johnson (John), Shad Edwards (Kim), Ryan Edwards (Lydia), Christopher Edwards (Stella), Kristin Kynerd and Colton Kynerd (Alyssa); his siblings, Joe Edwards, Barbara Anderson and Frankie Haggard; and his caregivers, Katie Upchurch and Nieda. He is also survived by many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bracken, Nurse Practitioner Kim Topping, nurses Katie Upchurch and Nieda, as well as the staff of John Stennis Medical Center and Rush Foundation Hospital.
