In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Thomas' spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanton Daws and Eunice Gewin Daws; and his son Steven Ray Daws. He is survived by: his wife Genelle "Nell" McKee Daws; and his children, David Gaston Daws (Debbie), Michael Lee Daws (Donna) and Janet Sue Jones (Andy). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the BIG Oak Methodist Church (4865 Old Jackson Rd, De Kalb, MS 39328).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Daws be made to the charity of your choice.
