He is survived by: his son William "Hugh" Greene, Jr. (Venessa); his grandson Alex Greene of Dennis; his sisters, Lou Della Thomas of Booneville and Tricia Hancock (Hal) of Tupelo; and his sister-in-law Sarah Greene of Marietta. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and dear friends.
