She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Dedeaux and Mary Dedeaux of Delisle, MS; her husband Robert E. Hamilton of Birmingham, AL.; her daughters, Karen Mary, Robbie Jean Hamilton, Renita Clinkscales and Janet Jefferson; her siblings, Eunice Dedeaux, Dorothy Smith, Harry Jr., Curley, Michael Dedeaux, Eddie Thomas and James Hartzog; and her son-in-law Otis Silverman.

She is survived by: her children, Garrick Hamilton of Pass Christian, MS and Sherie Silverman of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Tyrone Jones of Pass Christian, MS, Le'Kesha Hamilton of Chicago, Nolan Lovelife of Las Vegas, Christopher Silverman, Sr. (Dominique) of Chicago, Anailise and Hezzie; her great grandchildren, Tytiana, Taylon Jones, Destiny, Christopher, Kelsey and Kevin Showers (Kesha); her great great grandchildren, Mireya Lovelife and Jhy'zir Ramsey; her goddaughter Mary Katherine Woodson; and her siblings, Sanovia Hartzog (Joan Deborah Tate) of Chicago, Larry Dedeaux (Bonnie) of Diamondhead, MS, Rachel Kately (Fred) of Pass Christian, MS and Beverly Dedeaux (Marilyn Thomas) of D'Iberville, MS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
