It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Peter Variani of Diamondhead, Mississippi, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Variani and Marie Veronica Variani; and his sister Emily Gaines. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Silva Variani of Diamondhead; his stepchildren, Eric Martin (Kathleen), Lori Williams (Mark) and Craig Martin (Dianne); his grandchildren, Jarrod Martin, Spencer Martin, Christopher Williams and Abby Williams; his brother-in-law Steve Gaines; and his nieces, Stephanie Kleider (John) and Donna McCraney.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (9062 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
