She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Spann and Evelyn Spann; and her brother Willie Spann. She is survived by: her daughter Erika R. Haygood Carter; her husband Eric Haygood; her son-in-law Kevin Carter; and her siblings, Patricia, Paula Spann and Arthur Spann. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Infinity Church (4031 Popp's Ferry Rd, D'Iberville, MS 39540). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
