It is with sadness that the passing of Talmadge Bennie Cook Sr. of Diberville, Mississippi is shared. Talmadge, born on August 10, 1939 in Collins, Mississippi, passed away on October 5, 2026. He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Cox Cook; his daughter Terri Cook Seymour; his parents, Dewitt Cook and Mamie Hutchinson; his siblings, Billy Cook, Kenneth Cook, Cary Rau and Mary Berhow; and his daughter-in-law Stacey Dunaway Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Cook, Chris Cook (Laura), Susan Davis, Anna Cook (Norman), Leslie Abbott (Don) and Talmadge Cook, Jr. (Richelle); and his grandchildren, Randy Lee Eaton, Jr., Jeremy Eaton, Stephen Eaton, Jennifer Miller, Shawndee Kendrick, Sarah Yennie, Brandon Davis, Justin Davis, Adam Seymour, Chad Seymour, Joanna Waltman, Christine Cvitanovich, Joseph Montgomery, Jr., Dustin Aderholt, Alissa Abbott and Gavin Cook. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home - Howard Avenue (675 Howard Ave, Biloxi, MS 39530). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Dementia Society at Dementia Society of America (http://qr.dementiasociety.com) or the Alzheimer's Foundation at Alzheimer's Association in Talmadge's memory.
