He is survived by: his mother Geneva Kay Gilbert; his wife Kim Bernardi Gilbert; his children, Brandon Gilbert (Dana), Chase Gilbert (Rachel), Meghan Winters (Jeremy Winters) and Peyton Weems; his grandchildren, Carson, Kaylin, Camden, Hadley, Grady, Harlee and Ava; and his sisters, Brenda Kay Carter, Debra Jean Noble, Sharon Ann Thornburg (Derek) and Mary Katherine Barlow (Bubba).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ray Funeral Home (206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the North Cleveland Cemetery N Bayou (1324 N Bayou Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732).
