With sadness, we share the passing of Jane Dickerson (Drew, Mississippi). Jane, born on December 6, 1930, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Olaf Sessums and Lottie Prathar Dyess Sessums; her husband John A. Dickerson; her son Alan Dickerson; and her brother Henry Olaf Sessums, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, John Andrew "Drew" Dickerson, Jr. (Cathy) and Donna Jane Ruiz (Robert); and her grandchildren, Ashley Casey (Dickerson), Kristen Dickerson, Lauren Kinard (Dickerson), Chelsey Davis (Dickerson), John Andrew "Tripp" Dickerson III, Alyssa Sholders (Ruiz), Megan Dickerson and Hailey Dickerson. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Drew Baptist Church (139 S Church St, Drew, MS 38737). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
