She was predeceased by: her parents, Freelon Scallions and Fannie Kendall Scallions; the father of her children Morris Busby; her daughters, Charity Greer and Morrissa Busby; her granddaughter Emily Busby; and her brothers, Earl and Ronnie Scallions.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leigh Wilkey of Oakland and Brandice Busby of Grenada; her siblings, Leresa Prewitt of Holcomb, Bobbie Melton of Holcomb, Brenda Mullen of Holcomb and Charles Scallions of Gore Springs; her grandchildren, Kalee Busby, Shelby Timbs, Dakota Greer, Sara Kelly, Dallas Greer, Stormy Carroll, Summer Busby and Jayden Busby; and her close friend Joe Timbs of Duck Hill. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
