With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jim Carroll of Durant, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his children, Sherry Lynn Robertson, Lacey Perry, David Myers and Terry Myers; his parents, Andrew Carroll and Hattie Carroll; and his siblings, Jay Carroll, J. D. Carroll, Wanda Jones and Velma Duke.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Carroll of Durant, MS; his children, Tina Farmer (John) of Kosciusko, MS, Marilyn Kyte (Randy) of Corrigan, TX, Cheyenne Criswell (Terry) of Daves, TN and James Carroll (Rhonda Kay) of Durant, MS; and his sister Lucy Al-Awaj (AL). He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty five great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First United Pentecostal Church of Kosciusko, MS (601 W Jefferson St, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A burial will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at the Marvin Chapel Cemetery (823 S Huntington St, Kosciusko, MS 39090).
