Ruth Cobbins Obituary

We announce the death of Ruth Cobbins (Durant, Mississippi), who passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 83. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Ruth Jordan (Cobbins).

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Durant M. B. Church (16455 N Jackson, Durant, MS 39063). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at the New Zion M. B. Church Cemetery (4720 CR 166, Lexington, MS 39095).
