He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Guy and Claudie Marie Fortner Medlock; and his son-in-law Roger Huey. He is survived by: his children, Don Medlock, Paul Medlock, Amy Huey, Lisa Headlee and Libby Hancock. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Tutor Memorial Funeral Home (270 Coffee St, Pontotoc, MS 38863). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
