He is survived by: his wife Donna Smith; his son Robert "Bobby" Smith; his grandson Nathan Smith; his son Wesley Smith (Melinda); his grandchildren, Tucker, Evelyn Mae, Lincoln and Scottie Kate; his daughter Janet Heath; his sister Elizabeth Ann Thurmond; his stepchildren, Christal Simpson, Cindy Bullion-LaWarre and Angela Miller; and his caregivers, Felicia Forrest and Deanna England. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Browning Funeral Home (141 W Oxford St, Pontotoc, MS 38863). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
