He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Killebrew; his son John P Killebrew; and his parents, John A Killebrew Sr. and Gladys R Killebrew. He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Killebrew (Lisa) and Chad Killebrew (Tracy); and his sister Betty Sue Mangum.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Home (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Coxburg Cemetery (11965 Thornton Tolarsville Rd, Lexington, MS 39095).
Born on January 27, 1942, James was a dedicated and hardworking individual who made significant contributions to his community.
