He is survived by: his wife Doris Maples Hanchey; his son Charles "Chuck" Hanchey, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kimber Ogden; his grandchildren, Savannah Day, Sierrah Nguyen and Seth Cole Hanchey; his sister Sandy Leach (Johnny); and his children, Sirlene Capers and Church of Laurel. He is also survived by sons and daughters.
