He is survived by: his wife Nagako "Kitty" Bounds; his brother Louis Lavelle Bounds; his son James A. Bounds (Carla); and his grandchildren, Lauren McBride (Blake), Wilson Bounds (Ali), Shelby Bounds and Abbey Crosby (Drew). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
