He was predeceased by: his parents, Hascell Pitts and Helen Varnadore (Welch); and his siblings, Joe, Ruby, Thomas, Chuck and Douglas.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Crystal) and Robert (Alicia); his stepdaughter Starla (Derrick); his grandchildren, Triston, Hayden, Dylan and Brianna; his siblings, Rachel and Stanford; and his nephew Rodney Pitts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or arrangements, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jimmy's honor to Wounded Minutemen of Mississippi.
