Merle B. McDonald Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merle B. McDonald of Ellisville, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Boleware and Iva Brewer Boleware; her husband Walter Jack McDonald; her son L. Robert McDonald; and her sisters, Barbara Boleware, Vermell Sims (John), Patsy Lowery (Shirley) and Brenda K. Boleware.
She is survived by: her brother Oscar Boleware (Carmen); her sons, Michael L. McDonald and Daniel G. McDonald; and her grandchildren, Laura A. Hegwood (Nick) and Mark D. McDonald. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She had a long and unfortunate battle with Alzheimer's disease, something that took her away too soon from her family and friends, but she's in a better place now, free from the ravages of the disease.
