He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Welborn; his parents, J. D. Welborn and Dimple Carter Welborn; and his brother Mitch Welborn. He is survived by: his children, Mickey Welborn (Crystal) of Ovett, David Welborn (Elizabeth) of Collins and Chris Welborn (Brandi) of Seminary; his grandchildren, Hannah Manning (Koko), Hayleigh Jones (Peyten), Mallory Welborn, Michael Welborn III, Allie Craft (Adam), Kaylee Welborn, Gaiden Welborn, Dylan Welborn, Brody Welborn and Blakely Welborn; and his brother Bo Welborn (JoAnne). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
