It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Noel Scoggin of Ellisville, Mississippi, born in Decatur, Mississippi, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Ruth McPherson Scoggin (Mollie); his parents, Eugene Fredrick Scoggin and Odie Ozella Walden Scoggin; and his siblings, Kenneth D. Scoggin and Jeanette Scoggin Conlee.

He is survived by : his daughters, Janice Lynn Scoggin Ishee of Ellisville, Cynthia Dianne Scoggin Johnson of Ellisville and Cheryl Denise Scoggin Clark (Sherriel) of Laurel; his granddaughters, Laura Elizabeth Clark of Ellisville and Sarah Lynn Ishee of Ellisville; his great grandchild Jacob Ryan Kersh of Ellisville; his brother Wilfred; his son-in-law Stanley Howard Ishee; and his granddaughter Stacey Marie Ishee Crocker. He is also survived by husband and son.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ellisville Funeral Home (1204 B Avenue, Ellisville, MS 39437). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
