He is survived by: his wife Tina Purvis; his daughter Tracy Purvis; his grandchildren, Clayton Purvis (Brittany), Cody McDonald (LeeAnne), Randy McDonald (Kayla) and Daylee Stanley; and his brothers, Gene Purvis, Ray Purvis (Madie), Phillip Purvis Sr. (Brenda), Dene Purvis (Barbara) and Tim Purvis (Karen). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ellisville Funeral Home (1204 B Avenue, Ellisville, MS 39437). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the same location.
