We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Winfred Randolph Strickland of Ellisville, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hannon Strickland and Delphine Strickland; his former wife Carol Scott Strickland; his wife Anne Forde Strickland; and his son Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Strickland Clark (Brock) and John Forde (Connie); his grandchildren, Lindsey Parker Deeks (Alex), Anna Strickland Patterson (Philip), Tyler Parker (Margaret), Hayes Strickland (Abby), John David Forde (Sofia) and Daniel Forde (Laura); Mark and Carol Lehman. He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First Baptist Church of Ellisville (302 E Holly St, Ellisville, MS 39437). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Winfred Randolph Strickland Scholarship, Jones College Foundation, Inc., 900 South Court Street, Ellisville, MS 39437.
