He was predeceased by: his mother Susie Kate Brown (Hyde); his wife Sadie Louise Brown; his daughter Kimberly Ann Naseman Wilson of Stockton, AL; and his siblings, Edward C. Brown, Ralph Alonzo Brown, Buford H. Brown, Agnes Aunita Harbour, Dorothy Anna Gill, Susie Rebecca "Ruth" Ray, Ollie Jean Walston and Carol Mae Leggett.
He is survived by: his father Edward Washington; his sons, Edward R. "Eddie" Brown (Joanne) of Foley, AL and Donald C. "Don" Brown (Krista) of Enterprise, MS; his grandchildren, Christopher M. Brown of Foley, AL, Andrew L. Brown (Sarah) of Birmingham, AL, Kaleb J. Naseman (Karley) of Fairhope, AL, London K. Naseman of Fairhope, AL and Leah N. Brown of Enterprise, MS; and his great grandchildren, Lucy Grace Brown of Birmingham, AL, Delta Lynn and Dakota Grayson Brown of Foley, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in Vernon's honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital, to the local Masonic Lodge or one of their members, or to a favorite charity of your choice.
