He is survived by: his wife Vivian Bang Jones; his sons, David R. Jones (Cynthia), Kenneth I. Jones (Karri) and Jeffery D. Jones (Ashley); his grandchildren, Keldon McKenzie Jones, Kennedy Lauren Jones Boatner, Christopher, Izabella Grace Jones, Gibson Daniel Jones, Paisley Faith Jones and Jennings Nash Jones; his great grandchildren, Jesse Allan Boatner and Scottie Lynn Boatner; his siblings, Dempsey Jones and Linda Jones Laforce (Burnis); his sisters-in-law, Gayle Bang Young (Steve) and Ginger Jones; and his close friends, AJ and Sheila Moody. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, numerous extended family and many whom he called friend.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eastside Assembly of God Church (Formerly Midway Methodist Church). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
