He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Cole and Carrie Cole (Russell); his brother Michael Cole; his uncle L. "Buck" Buchanan; and his aunt Anna Buchanan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Cole; his children, Angela Cole-Mackey (Arthur) of Washington, D. C. and Jerome Cole II (Shawana) of Escatawpa; his grandchildren, Karen Denise Terry and Ronald Eugene Collins of Phoenix, AZ; his siblings, Robin Johnson (Terry) and Steven Cole (Leslie); his aunt Izzetta Callahan; his uncle Steward Cole; his cousin Myra Brent; his grandchildren, Shanice, Malachi, Hannah, Christian and Chloe; his great grandchildren, Talia and Jaylen; and his siblings-in-law, Gwen Crockett (Roosevelt), Angela Hill (Jimmy), Loretta Larry, Oscar "Lavon" Larry and Joseph Larry (Tonya). He is also survived by niece's, nephew's cousins and friends.
