She was predeceased by: her husband J. D. Maddox; her daughters, Ramona Hollingsworth and Leslie Philley; and her brother Albert S. Blackwell of Escatawpa. She is survived by: her sister Benitha Blackwell Brewer of Laurel; and her son John Maddox (Wendi Sancho). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
