He was predeceased by : his wives, Jueal Ann Oswald and Joan Maxine Oswald; his parents, Clifford Oswald and Fern Farmwald Oswald; and his son Jimmie Hughey.

He is survived by : his children, Linda Ann Livingston of Winona, MS, Daniel W. Oswald, Jr. of Goshen, IN and David Guy Oswald of Eupora, MS; and his siblings, Ray Oswald of Tucson, AZ and Ellen Oswald of Goshen, IN.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and15 great grandchildren.
