He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Fannie Gertrude Summers Clemmer; his former wife Mary Lois Miller Clemmer; and his siblings, John L. Clemmer, James Edward Clemmer and Frances Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Melton Clemmer; his stepson Mark Miller (Cindy); his children, Rita Rutherford (JD) and Burt Clemmer (Melanie); his grandchildren, Philip Clemmer (Kim), Shane Rutherford, Dusty Rutherford (Jenny), Lauren Elliot (Robert), Haley Miller (Terrio Joy), Jacob Miller (Alivia), Cheyenne Kilzer and Emily Hutchins; and his siblings, Houston Clemmer of Ripley, MS, Lavern Clemmer (Judy) of Falkner, MS and Louise Harrison of Falkner, MS.. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to: Pinevale Children's Home, Magnolia Messenger or American Cancer Society.
