It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adell Ellis (Fayette, Mississippi), who passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Adell may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ellis, Sr. and Mary Louise Barnes Ellis; her husband Wilson Clark, Jr.; her aunt Iular Ellis (Gladys); and her sister Katie Matthews Carradine.
She is survived by: her children, Sheeva Ellis (Roderic), Shannon Williams, Sirmario Clark, Sharvis Clark (Terekia) and Sededrick Clark. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven siblings; and host of other relatives and friends.
