It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Ruth Wallace Orcutt Smith of Fayette, Mississippi, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wallace and Frances Williamson; her brother JP Wallace (Jeannette Wallace); her former husband William Aivin "Billy" Orcutt, Sr.; her grandson Sgt. Seth R. T. Orcutt; and her sister-in-law Mary Logan (George).
She is survived by: her sons, William Alvin "Bill" Orcutt and Robert James Orcutt; her grandchildren, Angela Orcutt, Mike Orcutt (Jana), Brooke Orcutt and Charlie Orcutt; her great grandchildren, Trey Couch, Kiyah Orcutt, Paityn Crouch, Sophie Orcutt, Bryson Orcutt and Seth Orcutt; and her brothers-in-law, Eddie Orcutt (Stella) and Arthur Orcutt (Nola Mae). She is also survived by nephews and nieces, family by heart, and friends.
