She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Austin and Sarah Austin; her husband William Lee Childress; her sister Helen Gannim; her nephew Jody Gannim; and her grandson Blake Walley.
She is survived by: her children, David Childress (Melinda), Denise, Justin, Johnny, Marshall of Pisgah, MS., Lewis Childress (Georgia), Cody (Christy), Lane (Tiffany), Shannon Harrison of Flora, MS., Sarah Holcomb (Brad), Kristin, Wyatt of Flora, MS., Amy Long (Alan), Bo, Stephen of Lucedale, MS. and Julia Walley (Dan) of Ellisville, MS.; and her nieces, Marty, Cathy Gannim and Beth Presley.
