He was predeceased by: his parents, John Michael McGowan, Jr. and Jewel O'Bannon Rasberry; and his brother John McGowan (Sandra). He is survived by: his children, JoAnna Warren (Bud), Dendy Blankenship (Michael) and Megan Touchton (Jad); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Claire Warren, Ty Touchton and Michael Blankenship; and his sister Mary Lou Richards (Owen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Breeland Funeral Home (3304 S Liberty St, Canton, MS 39046). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Concord Cemetery.
