He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kade Winstead and Lydia Mae Anderson; his wife Mary Rankin Winstead; and his siblings, Billie Jo Chapman and Virginia Ann Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Selina Rayner (Dwayne) and Tanya Watts (Ronnie); and his siblings, Jean Brown, J. K. Winstead (Linda) and Phillip Winstead. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
