It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Summerlin Payne of Florence, Mississippi, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Frank Summerlin (Billy Payne); and her siblings, Robert Covington, Jimmy Covington, Joann Mathis, Charlene Covington and Linda Hankins.

She is survived by : her children, Nancy Floyd Smith (Randy), Nita Alford (Chuck), Phillip Summerlin (Rhonda), Eric Summerlin and Erby Floyd; and her siblings, Larry Callicutt, Louise Floyd and Debra Poling. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 16 great grand children and many nieces and nephews.
