He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fortenberry and Johnnie Fortenberry of Richland. He is survived by: his children, David Fortenberry Jr. (Trina), Amanda Baker (Joe), Rachel Gunn, Bayleigh Nicole (Colton) and AnnaGrace (Christian); and his siblings, James Fortenberry (Stephanie), Mary Barnes and Joann Jackson. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
