It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Petrecia Marie Vuncannon in Florence, Mississippi, who passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marshall Cain and Gracie Elizabeth Downs; and her husband Larry Vuncannon. She is survived by: her son Keith Vuncannon of Iuka, MS; her brother Sonny Cain of Iuka, MS; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Chaffin, Lynn Vuncannon, Reeder Vuncannon, Alma Vuncannon, Sara Sanders and Shirley Cain. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to a family member's allergy, no live florals please.
In lieu of florals, the family request donations to be made, in her memory, to St. Jude, Shriners Hospital, or Tristate Cross for Christ.
