He is survived by: his daughter Kylee Dickerson; his son-in-law Cody; his father Olif T. Matthews; his stepmother Betty H. Matthews; and his brother Ben Matthews. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes- Brandon (1360 W Government St, Brandon, MS 39042). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (1207 MS-469, Florence, MS 39073).
