We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Bessie Sarphie Speed of Flowood, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Ellis Sarphie and Elizabeth Frizell Sarphie; her husband Leland; and her brother Jackie. She is survived by: her sons, Stewart (Kim), Forrest (Mary Kelly) and Warren (Marla); her grandchildren, Collins, Isabelle, Warner, Bennett, Elizabeth, Harrison, Graham, Preston, Mary Locke and Katherine; and her sister Carolyn (Charles).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider a tax-deductible donation made to The Bessie and Leland Speed Counseling Center at the University of Mississippi.
