She was predeceased by: her son Danny Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Bobbi Ford (Nelson), John Nelson, Mark Nelson and Carrie Watts (Nelson); and her grandchildren, Kristen Redd (Nelson), Daniel Nelson, John Ford, Maci Ford Whyte, Will Ford, Taylor Gibson, Casey Chalk, Whitney Johnson, TJ Watts, Sam Watts and Foster Watts. She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright and Ferguson (114 Burney Dr, Flowood, MS 39232). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of plants or flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association (ALZ.org) to help find a cure and bring hope to families walking a similar path.
