He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hughes and Edith Hughes; his wife Kathy Poss Hughes; and his siblings, Michael Hughes and Marsha Chastain.
He is survived by: his children, Dustin Hughes and Kelsey Hanson (Chris); his grandson Liam Hanson; and his brother Terrell Hughes (Pam). He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
