With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca W. Pitts of Flowood, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rebecca W. Pitts to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Laird Pitts of Brandon; her parents, C. K. Windham and Betty Windham of Laurel; and her brother Randy Windham of Laurel, Mississippi.. She is survived by: her daughter Heather Pitts Jones of Winston-Salem; her grandson Samuel Douglas Jones of Winston-Salem; her sister Lisa Windham Boswell of Atlanta; and her aunt Peggy Matthews of Clinton, Mississippi.. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home (114 Burney Dr, Flowood, MS 39232). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Flowood Baptist Church (1649 Old Fannin Rd, Flowood, MS 39232).
The family request in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions in memory of Becky to be made to either the Lewy Body Dementia Association or to the building fund at Flowood Baptist Church, Flowood, Mississippi.
