It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah W Douglas of Flowood, Mississippi, who passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Sarah departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sarah. Though Sarah may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Wade and Dorothy Williams Wade; her husband Robert Wesley Douglas; and her grandson Eric Douglas. She is survived by: her sons, Randy, Ricky and Steve Douglas; and her granddaughters, Melissa Pearson and Amie Shamhart. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
