She was predeceased by: her father Robert Boone; her husband Dr. Perry L. Simpson Sr.; her sons, Butch and Carl Simpson; her mother Ruthie Wooldridge Boone; and her siblings, Robert Jr., Thomas, Floyd, Jim, Joe, Fred Boone, Nancy Ruth Puckett and Marjorie Mae Williams.
She is survived by: her son Donald Simpson (Casey); her daughter-in-law Linda "Jody" Simpson; her brothers, David and Billy Boone; her grandchildren, Gloria Widener (Kelly), Perry III Simpson (Megan), Jamie Wintzel (Natasha), Brandy Robinson (Dewayne), Brady Simpson (Leslie), Patricia Evans (David), Tiffany and Heather Simpson; and her great grandchildren, Tipton, Brantley, Justin, Julie, Jenna, Annabelle, Hannah, Faith, William, Leland, Stella, Wyatt, Jada, Desi, Morgan, Bentley, Andrew of Dallas, CJ, Zachary and Elizabeth.
