He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. Pettigrew and Emma Ruth Pettigrew; and his wife Mary Agnes Pettigrew. He is survived by: his son Neil Pettigrew (Carol); his brothers, Gary Pettigrew and Kenny Pettigrew (Neva Jo); and his grandsons, Jesse and Luke Pettigrew.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home (295 E 1st St, Forest, MS 39074). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes - Forest (295 E 1st St, Forest, MS 39074). A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM.
