She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin Franklin Rhodes and Cola Rebecca Breland Rhodes; her brothers, Hays, Reid and Walter Rhodes; and her great grandchild Mason Rushing.
She is survived by : her husband James Rushing; her children, Dianne Rushing Walker (Gene), Wally Rushing (Angie) and Richard Rushing (Paula); her grandchildren, Tom Walker (Crissie), Christy Walker Cofer (Paul), Ben Rushing (Courtney), Spencer Rushing (Shelly), Zach Rushing (Jennifer), Luke Rushing, Will Rushing (Brittany), John Rushing (Kelli), Matt Rushing (Candice), Mark Rushing (Anna), Jeff Rushing (Greer), Seth Rushing (Caroline), Mary Anna Rushing and Sara Kate Rushing; her siblings, Cecil Rhodes of Brookhaven, MS, Lee Pendergrass of Decatur and Zula Shackelford of Philadelphia, MS; and her siblings-in-law, John and Jobyna Rushing of Ridgeland, MS..
