It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Augustus Lindberg Poole of Foxworth, Mississippi, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lovie Spears Poole; his parents, Elijah Bud Poole and Elizabeth Lizzie Thompson Poole; and his brother Virgil Poole. He is survived by: his children, Charles Allen Poole of Foxworth, Destry Elijah Poole (Michelle) of Foxworth and Sharon Simmons of Foxworth; and his grandchildren, Rachel Simmons, Shane Turner (Erin), Magan Carter, Madison Magee, Morgan Poole, Skye Vallient (Austin) and Storm Poole. He is also survived by fourteen Great-Grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Foxworth First Baptist Church (24 E Marion St, Foxworth, MS 39483). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the Foxworth Cemetery.
