We announce the death of Rivers Thornhill of Foxworth, Mississippi, who passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Glen Thornhill, Sr.; her parents, James Ezra and Mildres Lee Thjompson Priest; her son Mitchell Welton Thornhill; her sisters, Jimmye Powell and Carol Priest; her granddaughter Tiffany Thornhill; and her great grandchild Reuben Burkhammer.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Glen Thornhill, Jr. (Charlene) of Foxworth, MS and Lee Anne Cox (Gerry) of Foxworth, MS; her daughter-in-law Vicky Thornhill; her sisters, Tommie Lambert of Alabama, Maxine Archie of Foxworth and Linda Roach (Michael) of Texas; and her grandchildren, Geri Burkhamer (Nathaniel), Opal Peak (Austin), Drew Cox, Megan Foster (Danny), Gage Thornhill, Mitcheal Thornhill, Ardan Thornhill (David) and Kyrstan Des Combes (Wade). She is also survived by thirteen Great Grandchildren; one Great-Great Grandchild.
